On April 22, 2026, People’s Arc of Suffolk staff and board members gathered to celebrate our annual Employee Appreciation Milestone Luncheon. This year we also continued to expand the celebration to include all employees who have dedicated 20 or more years to our agency.
The luncheon serves as a dedicated time to recognize the commitment, passion, and teamwork of our peers and leadership. This year, we were honored to celebrate recipients ranging from 5-year milestones all the way to an incredible 45 years of service.
Our agency thrives because of the People who make up its heart. From the opening message by the Employee Appreciation Committee to the personal stories shared by our long-tenured staff, the day was filled with reflection and gratitude. Whether it was celebrating the “quiet little victories” that add up to something amazing or remembering shared laughs that turn ordinary days into something special, the spirit of our mission was on full display.
