Family Resources

Welcome to the Family Resources page for People’s Arc of Suffolk, where families and caregivers find vital tools, support, and information tailored to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower families with resources that foster growth, inclusion, and quality of life every step of the way.

Family Advisory Council

People’s Arc of Suffolk’s Family Advisory Council is a safe forum open to parents, guardians and family members of people in our Day and Residential Programs and students at our Saul and Elaine Seiff Educare Center.

The Family Advisory Council is a small group of enthusiastic and motivated members who are interested in advocating, gaining knowledge and increasing People’s Arc of Suffolk’s presence in the community while also sharing concerns and ideas for improving the lives of those People’s Arc of Suffolk supports. The Family Advisory Council meets once a month at our Bohemia location.
