Team Lavender Bereavement Support

You are not alone. We would like to take a moment to introduce you to Team Lavender.

We are a diverse team of People’s Arc members looking to offer support and hope in healing, for anyone who is grieving or has experience the loss of a loved one in their lives.

We aim to help people cope with loss, and offer a safe space for expression, while encouraging emotional and physical well-being in their time of need.

Team Lavender can also help to coordinate community and agency-based resources for those in need.

People’s Arc Of Suffolk Honors Michele Latona With Organization’s First Daisy Award

People’s Arc of Suffolk honored longtime nurse Michele Latona as the organization’s first-ever recipient of The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses during a ceremony Tuesday in Hauppauge. Latona has served People’s Arc of Suffolk for 21 years, providing compassionate nursing care to hundreds of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities while training and supporting countless nurses and staff members.
