Southold House Residents Take on Niagara Falls

Residents of our Southold house enjoyed an unforgettable summer vacation to the breathtaking Niagara Falls, New York!

The group traveled in style on Amtrak, which quickly became a favorite part of the trip. They stayed at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for four nights, where relaxation and fun were always within reach.

Highlights of the trip included a guided trolley tour around Niagara Falls State Park, the thrilling boat ride on the iconic Maid of the Mist, and a visit to the incredible Cave of the Winds. Each night, they capped off the day by watching fireworks light up the sky at 9 PM.

But for many, the simple joys made the biggest impact. Swimming in the hotel pool and enjoying the scenic Amtrak ride were voted top favorites of the trip.

Trips like this are an important part of our residential program, ensuring that the people we support have the same opportunities as anyone else to travel, explore, and create memories with their extended family at People’s Arc of Suffolk.

This Niagara Falls adventure was more than a vacation; it was a chance to explore, bond, and make lasting memories together. We are so grateful for opportunities that give the people we support the chance to explore new places and create lasting memories with their People’s Arc family.
