Q: What is the Shark Tank Showdown?
A: The Shark Tank Showdown is a thrilling and hilarious fundraiser hosted by Rise Life Services and People’s Arc of Suffolk. Taking place at the Long Island Aquarium on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this event gives you the power to decide who gets submerged in a shark cage—all for a great cause!
Q: How does the fundraising competition work?
A: Participants—including staff, family, and friends—are competing to raise the most funds. The person with the highest and lowest donation totals will have the “honor” of stepping into the shark cage for a real-life underwater adventure with sharks! You can donate to send someone into the tank or save them by donating even more to their competition.
Q: Where do the proceeds go?
A: Rise Life Services and People’s Arc of Suffolk will be fundraising separately for the same event. Your donations will directly support their vital programs, making a meaningful impact on individuals in need.
